Instagram Stories Not Opening

Solution 1: Check Your Phone or Tablet's Time / Date Settings:

Check the date and time of your device. If the date and time are incorrect, you may encounter this issue.

Open your device's main Settings app.

Tap the date and time.

If you see the "Automatic date and time" and "Automatic time zone" options, uncheck them.

Manually set the time and date incorrectly.

Tap the Home button lightly.

Go back to your date and time settings (repeat steps 1 and 2).

Manually set the time and date accurately.

Re-check the "Automatic date and time" and "Automatic time zone" boxes.

Solution 2: Clear Instagram Cache and data:

Open your device's main Settings app.

Tap Apps or Application manager (this option may differ depending on your device).

Tap Instagram> Clear cache> Clear data.

Try it by logging into the Instagram app.

Note: You will need to log into the Instagram app again.

Solution 3: reinstalling the Instagram app:

Then try it by entering the Google Play Store and uploading it again.

Solution 4: Put your phone out of Power Saving Mode (New):

Power saving mode, which is a feature to save battery in phones, causes data restrictions. As it closes the applications running in the background, it also restricts the internet data, saving the battery on the phone. However, this often causes problems in some applications, especially Instagram. You can check if your problem is fixed by taking your phone out of power saving mode. Since the power saving mode is a feature available on almost all Android and iOS phones, it can be located under the Battery option in the settings section or as a shortcut in the upper / lower scrolling bars.
